Angel Circle

Safety and the no-money rule

Most scams need money to move. On Angel Circle, it can't.

The no-money rule

There's nowhere on Angel Circle to send money, and messages that mention e-transfers, gift cards, crypto, bank details or payment apps are blocked before anyone sees them. Help here is always things or time.

If someone asks you for money, here or anywhere else after meeting on Angel Circle, report them. It's the clearest sign something is wrong.

How we check people

  • Signed in: everyone confirms their email address.
  • Identity confirmed: Angels show photo ID to a Guardian Angel on a video call before their first match.
  • Met in person: every Guardian Angel has met a member of the team in person.
  • Background checked: Angels who help with children, seniors or home visits can have a vulnerable sector check on file.
  • Service Angels: we confirm their licence with their regulator before they can offer professional services.

Meeting safely

  • Meet in a public place, like a library, community centre or a busy coffee shop, or use a porch drop-off.
  • Don't share your home address until you're comfortable. You never have to.
  • Keep your conversation in the Angel Circle thread so your Guardian Angel can help if something goes wrong.
  • Trust your instincts. You can cancel a match at any time, no explanation needed.

When something goes wrong

Use the Report link on any request, offer, message or profile. Reports go straight to the Guardian Angels for that area, who can remove content and pause accounts. If you're in danger, call 911.
